Here at PROMOrx, we are iPad fanatics! We have iPad 2′s and use them daily for business as well as for personal! We know iPad accessories! Why? We have paid for the samples(no, they are not free!!) and put them to the test! There’s a lot of crap out there. We’ll tell you!
We continue to be surprised at the number of people ordering iPads for their company that are totally clueless. They don’t know the difference between the original iPad and the iPad 2. They don’t know what an iPad or tablet stylus is. Smart Cover? What’s that, they ask! Several have placed orders through our website for iPad 1 cases. When we confirmed the order, pointing out it was for the original iPad and stated that on the website, they said “OOPS, need one for the iPad 2, won’t this one work?!”!! Really?!
Basic tips for buying iPad accessories:
1. Know which iPad if you’re buying cases:
the original (also known as the iPad 1) or the iPad 2.
There are differences in the size as well as the rear facing camera on the iPad 2. Or we can recommend one that will work for either.
2. Faux means FAKE as in faux leather iPad case. Leatherette is NOT real leather. PU leather is NOT real leather…it’s polyurethane…PLASTIC! PROMOrx will tell you if it’s a faux leather iPad case!
3. You will NEVER please all iPad users! All of us have different features in cases we think are a must!
4. Many of these iPad and tablet cases are NOT sitting in a warehouse in the US, they are in CHINA! It takes 3-4 weeks.

5. Small text in your logo can be a problem for debossing.
If we tell you it won’t work, it’s because we know you won’t be happy with the end result!
6. You need a vector art file of your company logo. That’s an .ai or .eps file and sometimes a pdf file will work if it was created in Adobe Illustrator. If you don’t have Adobe Illustrator, you can’t open these files. You can’t take a jpg file and save it as an .eps. It won’t work.
